Asia Matters Business Awards 2022
The Asia Matters Business Awards recognise Irish companies with a strategic focus on Asia and Asian companies making significant investment in Ireland.
The Asia Matters Business Awards conclude Asia Business Week Ireland 28 November – 2 December which is held in Partnership with The Department of Enterprise, Trade & Employment, Atlantic Technological University, Bord Bia, Enterprise Ireland, Ibec, IDA Ireland, PwC Ireland, The Department of Finance, Údarás na Gaeltachta and Media Partner The Sunday Times.
Winners of the Awards will be announced at The Asia Matters Business Awards, with MC Gráinne Seoige on the evening of Friday 2 December 2022 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Golden Lane, Dublin.
The judges will be looking for evidence of an innovative and well executed Asia specific strategic approach with clear business results referencing key contributing factors such as strengths in branding & communications, new product design, strategic partnership, legal & regulatory, sustainability and manufacturing & distribution.

Higher Education Partnership of the Year
To recognise the achievement of the best partnership with an Asian peer institution during 2022. Open to Higher Education Institutions including individual projects/partnerships from departments, research institutes and business schools.
Food Exporter of the Year
This award will recognise food companies who have won significant business in Asian markets during 2022. Open to Ireland based indigenous companies and MNCs.
Beverage Exporter of the Year
This award will recognise beverage companies who have won significant business in Asian markets during 2022. Open to Ireland based indigenous companies and MNCs.
Tourism Provider of the Year
To recognise the achievement of the best Irish Tourism Provider. Given the pandemic, credit will be given on the use of digital and social channels to engage with markets during 2022 and to prepare for the return of Asian Tourists to Ireland in 2023. Open to visitor attractions, retail, hotels and tour operators.
Financial Services Exporter of the Year
This award will recognise Irish companies who have won significant business in Asian markets during 2022. Open to Ireland based MNCs, aviation finance, funds, vendor financing and FinTech/ online payments sectors.
Technology Exporter of the Year
This award will recognise recognise technology companies who have won significant business in Asian markets during 2022. Open to Ireland based indigenous companies and MNC’s.
Most Successful Market Entry Asia
This award will recognise Irish companies with global ambition who have successfully entered or achieved significant expansion and scale in a new Asian market during 2022. Companies can be new to Asian markets or expanding to a new Asian market for them. Open to large, SME and HPSU companies.
FDI Partner of the Year
This award will recognise the best partner for incoming Asian Investors during 2022. Open to Professional Services, Legal, Recruitment, Local Government, Property Services and Banking.
