Gemma Corrigan

Gemma joined the international business of Federated Hermes in August 2021 as Head of Policy and Advocacy, where she is responsible for developing and leading the implementation of the firm’s advocacy programme. Drawing on her significant public sector experience, she engages with external stakeholders to advocate for industry progress on all sustainability issues including climate change, human capital management, and corporate governance. 

Prior to joining, Gemma worked for over eight years as a senior economist at the World Economic Forum, where she led the Sustainable Markets and a range of ESG initiatives focussed on accelerating the transition to a net zero and a nature positive economy. She has previously held roles at the United Nations and the United States Department of State. Gemma has an MSc in Political Economy of International Development from the London School of Economics and a BA in Economics from Barnard College, Columbia University.
